How to Fix the Network and Connection Errors in 4K Stogram
4K Stogram, like all other 4K Download applications, requires a stable Internet connection in order to download content to your computer and check for new publications. In case there are problems with your connection to the Internet or access to Instagram, 4K Stogram returns the corresponding error messages and becomes unable to perform the download tasks. Here is how you can fix the ‘Connection error’, ‘Network startup error’, and other connection-related issues.
Check the network availability
Make sure you are connected to the Internet. If your connection is absent or unstable, check your router or other hardware you use to connect. If it doesn’t help, reach out to your Internet provider to address the issue.
Check the proxy settings
If you’ve previously changed your IP address using the in-app proxy settings, make sure you’re still connected at Tools > Preferences > Proxy. In case you’re using another proxy or VPN service, change the country in the settings. Make sure to switch to a country that doesn’t block access to Instagram - it shouldn’t be China, Vietnam, Turkey, Bangladesh, Iran, Uganda, North Korea, etc.
Check the Instagram access
Open the web version of Instagram in your browser to see if you can access your account or if Instagram is available at all. Alternatively, launch the Instagram mobile app on your smartphone or tablet connected to the same network as your computer. In case Instagram asks to pass the challenge, follow the required steps.
